I am Dr. Vijaya Aditya Yadaraju, a Radiation and Clinical Oncologist with more than a decade of experience in the comprehensive care of patients with cancer. My work focuses on combining evidence-based medicine with clear communication, patient education, and compassionate treatment.
Over the years, I have treated a wide range of cancers and have developed a special interest in modern radiotherapy techniques, precision oncology, and integrative cancer care. My practice emphasizes helping patients understand their diagnosis, the intent of treatment, and the options available to them because informed decisions lead to better outcomes and reduced anxiety.
I believe cancer education should be simple, accessible and accurate. This led me to create Neoray Oncology, a platform dedicated to public awareness, myth-busting, and practical guidance for individuals and families navigating cancer.
Our Story
My path in medicine began in 2003, when I joined Andhra Medical College—a time filled with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a commitment to understanding the science and humanity of healthcare.
I completed my MBBS there and later pursued my passion for oncology through a Postgraduate degree in Radiation Oncology from MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, graduating in 2014. During this period, I developed a deep interest in precision radiotherapy, multidisciplinary cancer care, and the role of clear communication in improving patient outcomes.
I returned to Andhra Pradesh and joined KGH as a Senior Resident in 2014. Following this, I served as a Consultant at Lions Cancer Hospital and Queens NRI Hospital for a brief period before joining HCG Cancer Centre in 2015, where I am currently practicing.
